Sweet Creek Falls
Maiden of the mist. Lisa and I took a last trip to Sweet Creek before returning to work tomorrow.
We saw two nesting pairs of Dippers frantically feeding their hungry chicks.

St. Helena
Hiking along Ritchey Creek in Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.
Giant woodwardia ferns growing along the creek.
Vegetation was quite varied and the forest quite birdy but you really had to watch out for poison oak!
Stop for refreshments at Charles Krug Winery. This huge old oak dominates the entrance.
Pure history...plus I was the only person tasting so I got to taste a couple of extra wines that were really wow!
